What is “the Art of Art”?
It is said art is in the eye of the beholder, but there are so many tiers of discriminating sophistication, what is art? I do not proclaim myself any kind of “art expert” in the least. But I know what I like. The human body is beautiful. To me, the art of crafting art is in showing off the beauty of the subject.
The world around us is beautiful but we fail to see it in our day to day lives. Hence, the art of art is when the artist shows us the intimate details of the human body, nature, the innocence of the wild. Our universe from a perspective we are unused-to. It causes us to stop and absorb what we are seeing. It communicates to us. It says “look at me. See how beautiful I am”.
I am certainly not trying to tell you what should be “art” to you by any means. I am simply explaining what “art” is to me.
I appreciate those crafters who know the art of crafting art.
